GCC in the Time of COVID

The Garrison Community Council, like all other volunteer associations, has been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our last regular in-person meeting was held in March 2020.

In September 2020, the GCC moved its monthly meetings to Zoom. The GCC meeting format continues to include special guest speakers with a question-and-answer component. The meetings also frequently include updates from the 31 Canadian Brigade Group and HMCS Prevost.

Our speakers frequently use Power Point presentations, which may include photos, graphs, and charts that each GCC member can easily see on his or her home or work computer screen.

During the time of Covid, all tours of a military, historical or industrial nature have been held in abeyance.

The GCC will return to in-person meetings when it is safe to do so.

If you wish to come as a guest, to one of our regular Zoom meetings please contact Secretary, Randy Harden at garrisoncommunitycouncil@gmail.com for instructions.
